Techmenity worked with the Hyphen & Co design team on the Prose Headquarters and 50,000 sq ft factory buildout spanning two floors in the striking Ten Grand Street development in Williamsburg.

1. Designed and installed Robust Wifi network & firewall that would support wired and wireless devices for worry-free connectivity and security.
2. Designed and installed beautiful AV + easy-to-use video conferencing for five conference rooms, a corporate theater, and boardroom.
3. Styled all technology to conceal cabling and equipment.
4. Provided ongoing remote monitoring and management of the office data network and video conferencing infrastructure as well as boots-on-the-ground and remote support for the factory systems.
The Factory
The factory buildout occurred in two phases spanning April 2020 - August 2022
1. Techmenity created a secure and robust wireless networking environment covering over 50,000 sq. ft. across two floors of industrial space.
2. Specified, installed, and trained staff on the use of Brivo access control system and Eagle Eye camera system for the entire factory.
3. Assisted Prose team in getting their software-enabled assembly line and printer stations programmed and ready for production.
4. Our IT experts architected solutions for their manufacturing machines, ensuring that the systems are optimized and secure in order to keep production running 24/7 -- producing up to 30,000 bottles daily of custom-formulated shampoo.
5. Support for Surge Production: helped set up new print stations and connected the production line machines to the new printers to accommodate the increased quantity of custom labels for increased holiday production.
6. Provided remote and boots on the ground support for multiple requests covering all technologies in use by the factory through January 2023 when they built operations in-house.
Managed Services
Techmenity’s Managed Services (MSP) team was integral to the ongoing operations of the Prose production facility as we supported their rapid growth. On a day-to-day level, this included monitoring and management of the office videoconferencing infrastructure + providing remote and boots on the ground support for multiple requests covering all technologies in use by the factory through January 2023 when they built operations in-house.

When the client reached out to help them meet the factory demands of increased holiday production, we helped set up new print stations and connected the production line machines to the new printers to accommodate the increased quantity of custom labels. Additionally, we beefed up their access control system to account for the added surge staff that would be required during this time.

We enabled a seamless handover, ensuring that the company's office and factory systems continued to function optimally under the new leadership.
This project was incredibly rewarding on a professional level and it has been so fun to watch this company take off! Our staff even got to test out some of the Prose products (and we won't be going back to grocery store shampoo ever again)!
